We’re seeking a highly experienced and passionate Movement Coach to lead and inspire individuals through structured movement practice. This role blends strength, mobility, coordination, bodyweight training, and skill development across disciplines such as gymnastics, martial arts, dance, and locomotion. You will guide clients to explore movement as a lifelong practice and develop physical intelligence.
Design and deliver structured movement programs for groups
Teach principles of locomotion, mobility, balance, and control
Lead sessions covering bodyweight strength, flexibility, and coordination drills
Educate students on movement quality, body awareness, and progressions
Provide individualized feedback and movement assessments
Introduce skill work: handstands, floor flow, spine mobility, hanging, etc.
Bridge concepts from disciplines such as martial arts, dance, and acrobatics
Promote long-term physical development, not just short-term fitness
Participate in team discussions on programming, community, and movement philosophy
Host workshops or intensive sessions for deeper learning
Minimum 3–5 years coaching or practicing movement-based disciplines
Background in gymnastics, martial arts, calisthenics, dance, or yoga
Strong ability to demonstrate and explain complex movement patterns
Deep interest in body mechanics, play, and exploration
Ability to coach both beginners and advanced movers
Open to continued learning and integrating new movement modalities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Coaches are free to handle private training independently
Primal does not take commission from private sessions
A 20% studio usage fee applies if the coach wishes to use Primal’s space for private one-on-ones
